At Catchin' Rays, we are dedicated to delivering a clearer, cooler, and safer driving experience through our exceptional window tinting solutions in Portland and the Coastal Bend. Our focus is on enhancing safety and comfort, whether you’re at home, at work, or on the road.
To ensure a smooth installation process, please prepare your vehicle as outlined below.

*If you have a Truck or Vehicle with Aftermarket Accessories please click the link below for more information.

REMOVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Before your appointment, please remove all personal items from your vehicle, including:

  • Child Safety Seats
  • Clothing
  • Tools
  • Any other personal items

This is essential to provide us with full access to your vehicle and ensure that nothing is accidentally damaged during the installation.

*Note:
Contents in the Trunk: Please ensure the trunk area is empty, as we need full access to this space as well.

CLEAN YOUR VEHICLE

We kindly ask that you wash your vehicle prior to your appointment. Clean windows will allow us to have a clear view of the film installation as it progresses, ensuring a high-quality finish.

Additionally, please vacuum the interior to remove any sand, dirt, debris, and pet hair, especially from sedan rear windshields. This helps us maintain a clean workspace and improves the quality of the installation. Thank you for your cooperation!

INSTALLATION TIME

Estimated vs Actual Time

Please be aware that the estimated installation time may vary from the actual time it takes to complete the work.

We will contact you as soon as your vehicle is ready for pickup.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ITEMS

We are not responsible for any damage to items left in your vehicle or any damage that may occur while your vehicle is serviced.

BEFORE AND AFTER

To uphold our quality standards, we take before and after photos and videos of your vehicle to ensure it leaves in the same condition as it arrived.

WINDOW TINT REMOVAL

If you are having window tint removed for any reason:
  • Increased Installation Time: Be aware that this may increase the estimated completion time. We will notify you beforehand when you drop off your vehicle.
For rear windshields equipped with defrost lines:

  • The defrost lines may adhere to the window tint and could be removed or partially removed during the film removal process.
  • We cannot prevent this from occurring, as the original film may have already damaged the defroster lines.
  • We will only scrape rear windshields with defrost lines if absolutely necessary.

CONCLUSION

By following these preparation steps, you help us provide the best service possible. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to enhancing your vehicle with our quality window tint installation! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to our team before your appointment.
